Procedure

New tools and activities are added by Project Manus and EHS staff. This is the basic procedure for adding a new tool or activity to the wiki:

  1. Decide which area to link the tool or activity under
  2. Navigate to the parent page before creating the new tool or activity page
  3. Click on the +ADD menu button near the top right of the page
  4. Select Page from template
  5. Select the appropriate color / risk template (GREEN, YELLOW, ORANGE, or RED) and click Next
  6. Title the page with the name of the tool or activity
  7. Replace the NAME heading with the full name of the tool or activity
  8. Fill out the lists for PPE, Safety Considerations, Use Considerations, and Links/Info
  9. Click Save to save your new Tool / Activity page

Notes

  • Templates in this wiki serve as starting points, and once you create the page you can edit or change all aspects of if; however, do not edit the top section ("This activity is listed as...") or the bottom section ("Forms and contact information required...")
  • The top section contains an excerpt macro to pull color coding to the parent page, as well as the required process steps for a particular color / risk level; editing it will make the page inconsistent with other pages of the same color / risk level
  • The bottom section contains standard contact links for a particular color / risk level
