Team,
Firstly, thanks for your patience and input. I was delighted that we made progress with a path forward.
Secondly, here's what we agreed on: (let me know if I have mis-represented)

Leverage the work done to date where we can

The new solution will move forward with the WebAuth Login Server as the core with Shibboleth components for end points (app servers et all)
Bob will do a quick analysis (learnings from Stanford should be included) of any potential integration issues.
Articulate the support/operational issues and mitigation steps
Assess additional development efforts and align resources towards that.
Our goal will be a revised solution based on the above steps.
Important to note: We will be marketing this within the MIT community as a MITSSO solution and not as a specific product solution.
I would like to shoot for a Jan review followed by a pilot implementation within IS&T (some core internal apps first)
regards

Hi Wilson,

Thanks for hosting the meeting in order to help move this forward and for summarizing the points agreed to and next steps. One point I would like to re-emphasize, is that the WebAuth solution will only be used as a method for signing into the Shibboleth infrastructure, and it will not be made available to web application servers as a SSO method at this time, and that there would need to be a further discussion before a change in strategy or direction with the various parties. Again I thank everyone for their participation and patience as we work through this effort.

Thanks,

-- Mark
