Introduction

Lightweight Lecture Capture (LWLC) is a one-way video broadcast/recording of the classroom, which is framed to show the lecturer, chalkboards, and projector display.

For a demonstration of quality, please watch this video:

When to use

LWLC is recommended when:

  • You need a one-way broadcast where your remote audience does not need to participate
  • You want to record/archive the classes

How it works

The recordings use the in-room microphones to connect to the LWLC system. There are two microphones in that room, a lapel mic and a handheld mic.

How to Book

To schedule a recording for the LWLC system, you should first read the brief overview here, then complete the associated signup form (Touchstone Login Required). Someone from IS&T will reach out to you to schedule your event programming.
