Introduction

This article tells you how to move all events from one calendar to another. The process we are going to take is to export all events as an .ics files, and then import them into the new calendar via an .ics file.

Import Your Events into the Outlook Calendar using Outlook.com

  1. Login to Outlook on the Web: Navigate to Outlook.com or your Office 365 portal, and sign in.

  2. Go to Calendar: Once you're in your mailbox, click on the calendar icon (typically at the bottom left) to access the calendar view.

  3. Add Calendar: In the left sidebar or at the top, there should be an "Add calendar" option. Click on it.

  4. Select "From file": This option will allow you to upload your .ics file.

  5. Upload & Choose Destination:

    • Use the provided interface to upload the .ics file.
    • You should be prompted to select the calendar you want to import the events into. If you only have your primary calendar, it might default to that one.
  6. Complete the Import: Follow any remaining prompts to finish importing your events.

  7. Check the Events: Navigate to the calendar you imported the events to and ensure everything looks correct.
