  1. Set 4-6 high level goals for what ISDA wants to accomplish in FY2010
  2. Have these translate into more detailed goals for each ISDA team
  3. Team goals will feed individual goal setting
  4. All goals should be complete by August 1, 2009
  5. FY2009 Year in Review

     ISDA FY2010 Goals

  • Refine and support the set of policies and procedures on how we run our business, on
    • how ISDA select products and services for, ISDA, IS&T and MIT as a whole
    • how we do project discovery, incubation, development and management
    • service readiness, product deployment and maintenance
    • how we express, in written form, and exemplify through our actions, a set of norms we wish to develop within IS&T
  • Workforce development (working collaboratively with HR)
    • provide career paths and training for individual staff
    • analyze and address resource gaps
    • develop guidelines to requisition, develop requirements for, interview, select, install, and review new FTEs, contractors and students
  • To provide a rich set of data management services & tools with a robust data governance model
    • deliver real time data services that are required for Identity Services
    • deliver Managed Data Services to a minimum of 2 DLCs
    • complete the BI Pilot(s)
  • Define the portfolio for Content and Collaboration software services
    • define the future for Stellar
    • deliver a beta version of the LMS in parallel with Stellar 2.x
    • produce scope and execution strategy for DOS
    • Deliver into production: Thalia and QuickPages
  • Provide a rich foundation and framework for identity services
    • complete perMIT
    • complete Touchstone, version 1 roll-out
    • complete planning of Touchstone 2.0
    • implement a new LDAP service for ldap.mit.edu suitable for general application usage.  Reflect a viable moira structure into said LDAP service.
  • Deliver a set of services to the development community that allows them to integrate with MIT infrastructure

  • Progress Towards Making Kerberos the Universal Authentication System for the World's Computer Networks
    • Deliver Kerberos on popular mobile devices
    • Author road map for Kerberos on the Web
    • Release Kerberos 1.8

  • Software Release Team joins ISDA July 2009
  • Roll out of new Roles UI July 2009
  • Wikis upgrade (Confluence 3.0) September 2009
  • MIT BI reporting tools January 2010
  • PerMIT implementation January 2010
  • Stellar NG LMS decision January 2010
