DSpace (and OCA) handles imported into Barton Records:** Work on a script to load the DSpace handles into the Barton records for the Sloan Working Papers.

RVC:
- Landslides loaded in separate collection.
- Need to correct the images with the incorrect color profiles. Good project to test Bill’s item update script. I will arrange a meeting with RVC and Document Services to understand which items need replacing.
- Work on the idea of virtual collections. - on hold, an ongoing concept 12.08.09

Kepes Lynch: updates to Dome
- meeting setup with Mikki and Liz to discuss the global metadata changes needed for fields such as date and rights (meeting scheduled for 12.14.09)

RLE: Ready for testing
- RLE reports to DSpace.Rob has put the items here along with the metadata. He says you have access to this folder. I do not have access so I could not confirm. This is the path to the RLE metadata directories: R:\MetaData\Projects-RLE\metadataProduction\metadata RLE_QPR_001 and RLE_QPR_004 are ready for testing. The plan for this project is to break this project up in batches and maybe load monthly if the tests go well. The entire project probably will not be complete until Spring. Wiki page
- Ongoing-Rob has his team working on some edits but otherwise 50 total reports are ready to load to DSpace. Expect this to happen prior to holiday.

Edgerton Notebooks:
- Edgerton notebooks that are ready for testing in DOME.The pdfs can be found here: R:\DSpace Images\EdgertonThe metadata is on the filemaker server. I believe you have a lot of experience with this file on filemaker.
- Testing has been performed. There is a date issue in the Filemaker database. Carl has figured out how to pull the page level subject information. Waiting for word from Archives to submit the tiffs, pdf, and censored pdf to Dome with the limited level metadata.

David Taylor Model Basin Reports Wiki page:
- These are currently being scanned in Document Services. These 1,000 reports will go in Dome. I have attached the spreadsheet with the metadata. The reports will not be finished scanning for another week.
- Sending spreadsheet for the metadata to begin testing. The pdfs and tiffs will be on DSpace Images.
- Expect to be ready to load mid-late-January

MIT Energy Reports:
- 447 technical reports. The scanning in Document Services will probably not start for another 2-3 weeks. This will be another Barton to DSpace batch so the testing should be minimal. Selina has already worked through all of the Barton records for this project.Wiki page

Vail Balloon Prints:
- Still waiting to hear from Archives if they are ready to load to production or what for the descriptive metadata.
- Scheduled meeting with Mikki, Nora, and Carl to review the Filemaker to Archivist Toolkit migration. (meeting scheduled for 12.18.09)

Thresholds:
- Waiting for Rotch to decide about the metadata. Currently this is in Dome Test: http://dome-test.mit.edu/handle/1234567890/30246

- Born digital pdfs of technical reports with Barton records to load to DSpace. Expect this to come in early January
LCS
- 900 Pdfs of technical reports. You have already reviewed the database with the metadata. We are waiting on completion of the scanning by the department and then OCR work by Document Services. Expect to hear word in January
