  • Purpose (from April 2010 meeting)
    • Provide a forum for cross-mission discussion and comparison of CCD-specific modeling and calibration issues
    • Produce documents (SPIE level) discussing these comparisons, pros/cons of each approach
    • Produce a document (A&A level?) discussing lessons learned and best practices for CCD-based instruments
  • Short-term Goals (from April 2010 meeting)
    • Provide structure for organizing/sharing information (this wiki)
      • Library of links to key papers and memos, indexed by mission, topic (i.e. CTI monitoring, correction, etc.)
    • Establish three sub-groups for detailed study of topics of special interest
      • Residuals around Si-K edge (Miller)
      • CTI correction, energy dependence of CTI (Beardmore)
      • Challenges in calibrating timing modes (Tsujimoto)
      • Charge Injection?
