Why do I hold a Project Kick Off?
- To give a general road map of where the project is headed
- To give a general plan of how the project gets there (phases)
Steps:
- IDENTIFY: Determine participants in Project Kick Off meeting. This should range from Sponsor, Business Owner, IS&T Communication Team and project team members
- INFORM: Facilitate Kick Off meeting agenda via the checklist provided below
- ENGAGE: Communicate with Sponsor and Stakeholders to ensure alignment, obtain sign offs and address outstanding issues

- You have identified the PM and BA
- You have internal alignment on project goals
- You have identified your project sponsor
