Design 2:

Storyboard:

When Chuck gets dropped off at the daycare, Dan would open up ChildFeed and would be welcomed to a home page for the service.

Dan would then select the Check-In option to get to the Check-In page.

Once on the Check-In page, Dan would either type Chuck's name in the search to force a scroll to his name or he would just manually scroll to his name in the alphabetically sorted list. Once at Chuck's name he would click the check mark to mark him as checked-in. If he makes a mistake, he can just click the x to "un-check" him. After clicking share, the notification will be sent to Chuck's parents.

Patricia at her job would check her ChildFeed feed and see from the exclamation mark that she has an unread message. She would see the new entry at the top and would see that her son has been safely checked into the daycare.

When Dan wants to upload the adorable image of a paint covered Chuck, Dan would click the Events button, click the "Add Children" button and type and select Chuck's account. He would then select the "Text" text box and type up his comment. At the end, Dan would click the "Add Photo" button, select the desired photo, and click the "SHARE" button.

Again, the new event will pop-up on Paul and Patricia's ChildFeed feed, so they will see the unread story. Patricia will see a thumbnail of the photo and the first few lines of the comment of the story. Patricia would then click the story in order to trigger an info box overlay with a larger version of the image and the full additional text.

When the children are eating their meals Dan will click the "Food" button from the main menu and begin entering each child's meal. To do so, Dan will either add a new meal or select one of the existing meals and then click on each of the children who ate the selected meal(s). After every child selection, the child's displayed meal will be updated to selected meal and Dan would then have to select the amount that the selected child has eaten.
