Welcome

Welcome to the 15.S60 SSIM: Software Tools for Operations Research Winter 20113 Wiki! Many of the course documents are hosted here.

What is a Wiki?

According to Wikipedia, perhaps the most famous wiki:

A wiki is a website which allows its users to add, modify, or delete its content via a web browser usually using a simplified markup language or a rich-text editor.

Use this site like a wiki! If you see a word is misspelled or a link is broken, you can fix it.

How do I use it?

You can edit any page by clicking the "edit" button in the top right corner. We recommend you use the Wiki Markup mode for editing. To see examples of the Wiki Markup syntax on any page, go to the top right corner, click "Tools" and then "View Wiki Markup." The basic syntax is summarized in the notation guide. Some of the more advanced features can be seen in the advanced marco plugin guide. For example, the dynamic table:

my_table
Name Department Favorite Color

You can do LaTeX through mathjax as well. In inline mode, we have \( \frac{x}{y} \) , and \( e^x \) . In mathmode, we have:

\[ \begin{bmatrix} \dot x\\ \dot y\end{bmatrix} = \begin{bmatrix}a_{1,1} & a_{1,2}\\ a_{2,1} & a_{2,2}\end{bmatrix} \begin{bmatrix}x\\ y\end{bmatrix} \]

Navigation of this site

The course wiki is not designed to be navigated directly. If you are looking for a specific page, you can find it from a link on the course Stellar page. However, if all else fails, you can search the Site Map.
