Using plink.exe and TortoiseSVN for Windows

Before you begin, you must have the following:

Using plink.exe with TortoiseSVN will eliminate the TortoiseSVN irritating username/password prompts.

• 1. Download plink.exe and place it in C:
     
     
  2. Launch windows explorer, goto C:\ and right click on plink.exe.  Select TortoiseSVN->Settings.
     
     From the left hand panel, select Network and in the SSH client: field (bottom right panel) enter C:\plink.exe as shown below:
     
     
     
     
  3. Click the OK button and you are done.
