Beginning Summer 2012, IS&T will begin an annual archival of Wiki spaces. In July 2012, Wiki spaces that have not been viewed for more than one year will be removed from the production server (wikis.mit.edu) and copied to an archive server, where they will be maintained for an additional year. Archived Wiki sites can be restored to production upon user request until July 2013, after which they will be permanently removed. Space owners will have access to the archive server and will be able to view and modify their spaces on the archive server. Space owners may make a request to have their archived space moved back to the production environment by contacting wiki-support@mit.edu with the name and description of the space.
