As part of an ongoing effort to improve the overall performance and usability of the MIT Wiki service, IS&T will begin an annual archival of Wiki spaces starting this summer. Every July (starting in 2012), Wiki spaces that have not been viewed for more than one (1) year will be removed from the production server (wikis.mit.edu) and copied to an archive server, where they will be maintained for an additional year. During this time, Space owners will have access to the archive server and will be able to view and modify their spaces on the archive server.
Note: Archived Wiki sites may be restored to production upon user request until the following July (e.g., 2013), after which they will be permanently removed.
