- Missions
Chandra-ACIS, XMM EPIC-pn, XMM EPIC-MOS, Swift XRT, Suzaku XIS, MAXI SSC
- Purpose (from April 2010 meeting)
- Provide a forum for cross-mission discussion and comparison of CCD-specific modeling and calibration issues
- Produce documents (SPIE level) discussing these comparisons, pros/cons of each approach
- Produce a document (A&A level?) discussing lessons learned and best practices for CCD-based instruments
- Short-term Goals (from April 2010 meeting)
- Provide structure for organizing/sharing information (this wiki)
- Library of links to key papers and memos, indexed by mission, topic (i.e. CTI monitoring, correction, etc.) (in progress, see below)
- Establish three sub-groups for detailed study of topics of special interest
- Residuals around the Si-K edge (Miller)
- CTI Correction - Energy Dependence of CTI (Beardmore)
- Challenges in calibrating timing modes (Tsujimoto)
- Charge Injection?
- Provide structure for organizing/sharing information (this wiki)

- Tour of the CCD Working Group wiki page
- Timing modes
- XIS/ACIS performance evolution comparison study
- Future Plans
- Continue to populate the wiki
- Address questions raised by timing modes discussion
- ACIS/XIS performance evolution paper
- IACHEC WG meetings are productive, keep this conversation going outside of physical meetings
