There is an exciting opportunity for 1-2 graduate students to participate in two workshops in the area of megacity logistics. The first workshop will take place September 4 through 7 at the MIT campus with students and faculty from University of Sao Paulo (Brazil). The second workshop will take place at the USP campus in Sao Paulo (week of October 9th or October 22, to be finalized with selected graduate students). Workshop activities include lectures, discussion sessions and field visits. All travel costs to Brazil will be covered by grants provided by MISTI-Brazil and the Itau Foundation. MIT students are expected to actively participate in the workshops and write a case study from their experience. No Portuguese required. September activities will be scheduled to minimize missing as few classes as possible.

Interested students should send an email to Dr. Edgar E Blanco (eblanco@mit.edu) with their CV.
