This page details the requirements and design of the camera system for Project Hermes. The responsible engineer for this system is currently Unknown User (adamsa@mit.edu).
Requirements (TBR)
- Do not overheat before, during, after flight
- Successfully save data for archiving after flight
- Remote start from launch-ready position (preferably via Pyxida)
- One camera designed to sustain drogue-only recovery scenario
- Receive power from external source for remote start
Angles:
- 3x for pseudo-360 view on horizon
- 1x for Recovery section (higher frame rate)
- 1x for downward-facing
