Both nozzles have three components: Aluminum Nozzle Carrier, Phenolic Round, Graphite Round. The Aluminum Carrier holds the phenolic and graphite and provides the interface to bolt to the case. The aluminum is minimized to minimize the mass. The phenolic is a light material that acts as an ablative so the majority of the volume is taken up by the phenolic. The graphite doesn't erode as much as the phenolic so it is used as the throat. Both aluminum carriers have a slight lip overhang for the fin can to rest on.
