Q4

In FY2009, the Training Team delivered 239 classes to 1,414 attendees. Training staff worked with IS&T project teams and MIT community administrators to develop and implement curricula that provided learners with the skills they required to meet pressing business needs. Training classes supported the implementation of MS Exchange Email & Calendaring, COEUS, Grad Web Appointments, the SAP Appointment Redesign initiative, Departmental Web Publishing, and IS&T supported software and services. The Training Team continued to deliver on-line, on-demand educational resources through the creation of Captivate informational and how-to videos as well as the popular Element K series of titles. Through the Boston Consortium, we continue to offer the MIT community access to high quality training classes provided by CompuWorks and New Horizons at below market rates.
