Problem Statement
A disc jockey, or DJ, faces many difficulties during the course of their job. Based on our interviews, the typical DJ wants to share their love of music with their audience and create an atmosphere that is enjoyable for their audiences. A few obstacles, however, stand in their way. The DJs we interviewed indicated that they had trouble managing the sound levels of their songs, getting information about song popularity, gauging crowd satisfaction, handling song requests, and filtering out inappropriate words from songs.
