Michael is modeling the flexibility requirements of large-scale penetrations of wind energy from the perspectives of system operation and regulatory design. With a particular focus on the unique technological and regulatory context in China, he is analyzing the impacts of power sector reform on expanding renewable energy utilization in cost-effective and sustainable ways.
