NEO Audition & Recording Plans

Audition dates: two 1 hour sessions near end of June

How conducted:

  • @ MIT AV site (why? Easier for them to record, best to audition under actual conditions, more comfortable.)
  • 5-10 minutes per audition candidate.
  • Give sample script (14 pt, double spaced), about 1 minute in duration to those who sign up for the audition.
  •  @ audition, have similar document, same reading complexity, different subject, 30 second duration.
  • MIT gift cards will be given to those who audition and who are selected
  • MIT A/V staff will provide guidance on the selection process 

Recording:

  • Dates: mid July, two half day sessions. (We are offering two dates to accommodate peoples'schedules)
  • 2-4 HR staff members will perform the scripts
  • Writing resources will be present to perform any last minute rewrites.
