Overview
Commercially available motors are produced by reputable suppliers and certified by either the National Association of Rocketry (NAR) or the Tripoli Rocketry Association (TRA). Using these motors can require certification by one of these two organizations. These motors can be purchased either from Apogee Components or an on site vendor such as Wildman Rocketry or Animal Motor Works. These motors have hazardous material classification by the Department of Transportation, but can be shipped or transported by appropriately certified vendors. These motors can always be moved by personal vehicles.
