Materials
- Fabric Ripstop by the Roll Blaze Orange 1.1 oz Ripstop Nylon, Uncalendared; 3 yards provides about 1.5x margin on what we would need. Porosity confirmed unknown with supplier.
- Size 46 nylon thread
- Polypropylene Webbing, 1/2" from Country Brook Design, website says 300 lbs
Seams
- Seams are ~1/2" wide.
- Between gores, seams are first basted between overlapping pieces of ripstop nylon and then lapped twice with the polypropylene tape.
- On the band, the length-wise reinforcements are Seam Type SSau-2
- On all edges (vent, skirt, band), edges of ripstop are folded over 3/8" and either pinned or basted and then 1/2" tape lapped twice on top.
- Thread size 46. Spacing is 2.4 mm.
- double zig-zag loops with (MEASURE 3"?) fold over
Fullness
Vent lines are 10% shorter the Dc of the vent (Mark, 11).
