Overview

The MARSA is a dual deploy altimeter with a third pyro-channel to support advanced flight profiles. It has an on-board screen to make on-field configuration easy. It can also play back limited data over this screen.

 

Features

An upcoming tilt accessory will allow for more accurate inhibition of second stage firing, as discussed here.

 

Known Issues

Through 3 flights with MARSA54L altimeters, twice the USB Mini-B port has become detached in flight. It is fairly trivial to re-attach to the board. This was likely user error.
