Previously requests for name suggestions have been sent to the idm-sc list and two leaders in CSS. I am not aware of any suggestions elicited by those attempts. Please do use "add comment" below to make further suggestions or express your preference.
Note that we are also interesting in a logo for the system "- something that would say "This site uses MIT web authentication" in some iconic way."
The web application servers that are participating in this system should probably have the Shibboleth logo on at least one of their pages. This helps to indicate to people outside of MIT that the web server is using Shibboleth. The MIT login server does not necessarily need the Shibboleth logo. One of the links on the help page should lead to a list of MIT application servers that may be accessed by using the authentication server. That page should include the Shibboleth logo, and it should probably have a link that gives more background information about Shibboleth and other Identity Providers that support Shibboleth.

how about something like 'adMIT'?
Too much implied association with Admissions?
