Latest thoughts on what Minerva is:
The "good parts" of Athena, to wit:
- Universal file system (Alfresco a possible candidate)
- Easy web publishing via Virtual Web Hosting Service that integrates w/file system
- Project Spaces, which provide a home base for projects and collaboration
- Virtual hosting, and virtual servers, like Amazon's Elastic Cloud Computing, for the more general case.
Another piece is a Zephyr-quality chat, for now under the MITchat project.
We may someday take on email, integrating it like Zimbra.
