Goal: Work with 1E to setup IS&T in MIT as an alpha test site for the Macintosh client

Background: 1E makes a number of tools for managing Windows machines that exceed our needs established for the TSM Energy Saver project.  Historically, the lack of Macintosh clients has lowered the value of a 1E solutions for MIT.  They are entering the Macintosh market place and that makes the 1E solutions much more applicable to MIT's computing environment.  We would like to use the alpha testing opportunity to both shape the development of the Macintosh clients to better meet our needs and to assist in understanding how the 1E products actually behave in the MIT computing environment.  MIT Lincoln Labs is also considering 1E to meet some of their needs, so we are working together.  1E is a market leader and is the solution that Dell leverages to provide PC power management.
