Hi everyone,

I meant to propose this at our Accordiacs meeting but we ran out of time on Wednesday. This year EDUCAUSE is offering a special conference registration for on-line participants who cannot or don't want to travel to the annual conference in Denver. It includes live access to a large portion of the conference sessions and can be used to remotely tie in a group, not just an individual.

We're considering purchasing a registration through FSX and hosting whoever is interested in seeing some or all of EDUCAUSE online in the N42 Demo Center. The dates are Wednesday, November 4th through Friday, November 6th and programming runs from 8:00am on Wednesday through 11:00am on Friday. Details on programming available via the online registration are at:

Before I place the order I wanted to briefly check in to see if there is demand, and how much. Please drop me a note if you're interested.

Thanks,

Oliver

How does it work?

EDUCAUSE Online registrations are "per conference room." FSX is planning to purchase a registration for the N42 Demo Center. Any member of the MIT Community interested in attending one, some, or all sessions of EDUCAUSE 2009 Online is welcome to join us for that session in the Demo Center.

Please RSVP by sending email to othomas@mit.edu so we know who to expect and so we can make sure the Demo Center is reserved for the session. If you see your name on the list below, we already heard from you.
