Chandra ACIS / XMM-Newton EPIC cross calibration using HIFLUGCS sample
Gerrit Schellenberger's work (A&A, 2015, 575, A30) whereby the HIFLUGCS cluster sample (Reiprich & Böhringer, 2002, ApJ, 567, 716) is used to examine the effective area cross-calibration uncertainties between Chandra/ACIS and XMM-Newton/EPIC instruments. This extends the earlier IACHEC work (Nevalainen et al., 2010, A&A, 523, 22) due to the much larger number of objects and thus will yield more robust statistics and more detailed results.
