(This project is an extension of an issue discussed at ISTAB). The small-group spaces in W20-575D and 56-129 are under-utilized and under-publicized.

Publicity

The spaces are under-publicized. People don't know that they're available or what they can be used for.

Solution: Publicize on door to W20-575, as well as signs within cluster directing people to back room. Put signs on the door explaining policies and documenting procedures.

Status: In Progress

Notes: Tables should have anchor points for laptops. Consider Kensington Anchor Point (Model K64613WW, Staples: 887427) or Kensington Grommet Anchor (Model K64612WW, Staples: 887426). Anchor point has one-way screws and is permanent. Gromment model uses standard grommet holes (which don't exist on cluster tables)

More Small Group Spaces

More spaces are needed for small (2-3 person) groups to share either Athena workstation or laptop. Consider cubicle-style approach, with Athena workstation and 2nd input on monitor for laptop.
