Overview

At Berwick Maine Friends of Amateur Rocketry, Project Hermes launched a heavily modified Raziel Pathfinder development vehicle to validate the new Single Separation, Dual Deploy architecture. This test is intended to meet the Design Test and Evaluation Guide requirement 3.6.2. The first launch date was targeted to October 28, 2017, but this was slipped to November 11, 2017 to enable a focus on PDR. The first ground test occurred on November 10, 2017. This revealed an unforeseen material exceedance in a bulkhead.Deployment architecture and student researched propulsion.
