search techsquares

What should go on the wiki:

  • Information about how to do officer jobs - ideally everything an officer would need would be in their section
  • Historical information that future officers might want (subscription info, meeting minutes, etc)
  • Information that club members might want (hack tips history etc)

Most of the wiki will be club-public, so if there's anything that should be officer only (for example, anything with somewhat private information or a lot of people's personal information) it should be restricted to tech-squares-officers. If it needs to be restricted more than tech-squares-officers, then it probably shouldn't be on the wiki (or even the internet) at all.

Do think about what you're putting in and whether it should be up here if it contains confidential or potentially hurtful information.  I do not plan for us to ever make this world readable (that's what the web site is for). -- sarac

Current state of the wiki: The wiki is mostly useable, but in the process of being updated. I'll try to put notes at the top of pages about what should be added to them. --vboyce

wiki hints

Switch editing views between rich text, wiki markup, and preview to get a sense of what's going on.  Search for other pages and view the markup to see what magic is at work.  Click on the "insert/edit macro" icon in editing mode and explore the cool automatic stuff that's available.  Search the confluence wiki documentation, which is more extensive than the MIT wiki help.
