2006 Horizon Project Wiki

Welcome to the 2006 Horizon Project Wiki. This space has been created as a place for the members of the Horizon Project Advisory Board to manage the process of selecting the foci for the 2006 Horizon Report, which will be co-published by the New Media Consortium (NMC) and the EDUCAUSE Learning Initiative (ELI), and released in January 2006.



For additional detail on the timeline, including all activities and due dates, click here or on the graphic above. The menu below will lead you to a variety of resources, news items, discussion areas, links, and more. The items in these areas are meant to grow – please add to them liberally from your own readings and environmental scanning – and above all, leave comments!

STATUS: Advisory Board members have reviewed the articles in this section, and selected the ones they thought were most important to our work. The items in the the voting categories below have now been rank ordered.

Votes/ranks can be and are still being generated for items in these categories. As new votes are cast, the pages will be updated to reflect the new ratings by the proejct staff.

The categories below contain content of slightly different nature, and so they are not being ranked. Votes are not required.

PROCESS:
Within each of the discussion areas below, each Advisory Board member is make at least one observation. in aprticular, we woudl like to identify those topics in the previous Horizon Reports which may still be relevant, or which may have moved to a closer planning horizon. In addition, we like to think about any that may have missed the mark.
