Spotlight

With preterm, MIY Sloan's introduction to a large portion of our incoming MBA students, we introduced them to the leadership landscape at MIT Sloan. Highlighting the many opportunities to learn how to lead, we discussed learning from classes, from experience via action, and from interaction with innovative leaders. We also connecting their learning about leadership with the ideas behind Practicing Management and praxis@MIT Sloan. It was a lively discussion in a full room!

Here is the slide deck from that presentation.

During orientation, the themes were further developed as students learned about the MIT Distributed Leadership Model and about learning from action during an extremely active day at the Warren Center.
