Aerospace Engineer
Research Domain:
Human-systems Engineering and Integration
Research Methodology:

Research Description:
Jason's research focuses on Human Supervisory Control Systems for monitoring complex systems that involve human labor. Jason's past research has focused on the design and validation of systems for overseeing Planning and Resource Allocation within complex, highly dynamic systems (namely, aircraft carriers). His research is now extending to include safety monitoring in these systems. Primarily, can predictive models of human behavior within the system be generated (given that worker A is in location 1, what is the probability he is at location 2 in 5 minutes?), how this can be correlated to "unsafe" conditions, and how this can be display to both high-level supervisors and the individual workers.
