Overview

Relying on miRNAs, we can measure the expression of a variety of genes associated with Alzheimer's. The implementation of such a system is eased by research into Alzheimer specific miRNA signatures and the recent publication of a circuit for taking multiple miRNA inputs to mediate a desired output. Specific output relevant to our system is under development by the treatment module, so this module will use a generic output and focus on attempting to accurately identifying the presence of factors associated with Alzheimer's, preferably in the early stage before symptoms set in.

Experiments
  • Detection of miRNA associated with factors.
  • Construction of profile matching circuit.
  • Reinforcing logical soundness and robustness of circuit.
