Problem Statement

Authors of fiction and fan-fiction use online communities to distribute their work, but there are currently no online communities that allow the creation of collaborative fiction. The only ways for authors to collaborate on a document are either traditional means, such as meeting in person, or using a collaborative document editor like Google Docs.  Current online writing communities also generally have little functionality for editing, revising and proof-reading, all of which are important parts of literary development.

Proposed Solution

Round-Robin Fiction aims to be an online gathering place specifically designed for fiction and fan-fiction writers, which will provide more flexibility and control than a simple collaborative text editor.  Round-Robin Fiction will allow authors to create, edit and discuss collaborative fiction projects, and allow readers to read and comment on the hosted stories.
