The SciOps working group provides a forum for discussion of science operations approaches and challenges, in particular where they may affect calibration work. This includes issues such as evolving orbits, addressing system failures, scheduling, and target-of-opportunity response. In this working group, missions can share their individual approaches, provide guidance for new missions, and discuss modernization ideas for older missions.

We have had brief general operations summaries from XMM-Newton, NuSTAR, and Swift - we welcome similar presentations from other missions during future telecons and meetings.

Meetings:

Next meeting will be in September 2026, and a poll for a suitable time will be sent around nearer the time. Topic: rejuvenation and modernization activities.
