Scenario
Max Sun is a professor in academia at the University of California, Berkeley. All three of his kids have left home, finished college, and are now living on their own throughout the US. Max has finally decided that he doesn’t need to hold on to his daughter Naomi’s stuff anymore. He is looking to give away her incredible assortment of Barbies and Japanese comics. He calls his friends Elaine, Xueying, and Mike Jones asking if they would like any of Naomi’s old toys. They all expressed that they would have been interested in picking up the toys if their kids were of the same age, but unfortunately all of their kids are past the age where they would have enjoyed them.
Max googles for toy listing sites and stumbles on yourturn.com. He decides to list the barbies and comics on there, hoping some others would find the toys useful.
Kyle was just laid off from his job as a construction worker in Berkeley due to a permanent back injury. He has two kids and is unable to provide them with toys. He checks Goodwill and the Salvation Army to see if there are any suitable toys for his children, but doesn't find anything that would interest his kids. He searches online for cheap toy listings and comes across yourturn.com. He searches for comics and discovers Max’s donation listing. He claims the toys on the website and organizes a meetup time to collect them.
