1) What is a Wiki and how do I use it?
Others can answer this question better than we can:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wiki http://www.atlassian.com/software/confluence/
To access the symposia, click on the "children" links below or follow the "Archive" link.

2) How do I cite the Symposia?
There are several different styles for citing electronic sources. However, the following example provides the sort of information you will need:
Lisa Gannett, "Social Ontologies of Race," Symposium on Gender, Race and Philosophy, Vol. 1, no. 1 (May 2005). http://web.mit.edu/sgrp/2005/no1/Gannett0505.pdf

Note that all essays will have the same stable URL format:
[SGRP URL]/[volumeyear]/[issuenumber]/[Authorlastname][YrMo].pdf
Note that the author's last name(s) should begin with an uppercase letter.

For further information about citing electronic sources, see:
http://www.bedfordstmartins.com/online/citex.html

3) How do I suggest an article for discussion or a book for review?
Symposia will be organized to discuss previously published articles that take up philosophical issues concerning race and/or gender. Articles should be published within the past two years.  Books for reveiw should be published within the past two years.  If you would like to recommend a book for review or a focus article for a symposium, please contact the Editors at sgrp-editors@mit.edu.

4) Does the SGRP accept submissions?
At this time, the SGRP does not accept unsolicited submissions.  Because the SGRP is a new publication, our editorial policies are open to reevaluation. If you would like to comment on our editorial policies, please email the Editors at sgrp-editors@mit.edu and/or add a comment to this page.
