Intellectual Property and Licensing of Ideas
All contributed All winning ideas will be posted, which will make them public. This may restrict the IP rights of the contributors. Contributors of the winning ideas will be asked to sign the following IP statement:
"I, ___________________________(printed name), agree that any intellectual property, including without limitation inventions (whether or not patentable), copyrightable material, software, tangible research property, and trademarks, I submit to the MIT Offshore Floating Nuclear Power Plant project from May 27, 2014 to May 26, 2016, will be registered in the public domain, meaning that the inventors and/or authors, as applicable, will retain no residual rights to the intellectual property and the intellectual property will be available for public use. Moreover, I represent that (i) I am authorized to agree to the aforementioned treatment of intellectual property, and (ii) I have not incurred, nor will I incur, any obligations that would preclude me from complying with the treatment outlined above."
