Block Diagram Overview
On Project Osiris, Papyrus (the Avionics system) is a modular system designed to supply power to fluid system devices, obtain instrumentation data in real time, and provide control to the engine throttle valves and TVC assembly. It also will feature an interactive P&ID on a GUI and switchbox for ease of user operation and rapid fault identification.
Within the core assembly of Papyrus, there are three modules: the communication module, the processor module, and the power module. The communication module handles handles data exchange between the ground station and test stand, the processor contains a microcontroller that takes in data from engine instrumentation, and the power module provides power to the whole board.
