Searching in Connexion

The cataloger uses OCLC Connexion to search the items in his/her work supply. The type of search performed and the record chosen (when multiple records are available) depends on the individual piece being searched and the cataloger’s judgment.

The cataloger may choose to search items using MIT custom macros or the Connexion command line or keyword boxes.

  • MIT custom macros for searching
  • Connexion command line and keywork boxes
  • Match points for records
  • Choosing among multiple records
  • LC vs. non-LC copy
  • No labels
