The Scheller College of Business at The Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia invites applications for tenure-track faculty positions in the Operations Management (OM) Area at the Assistant or Associate Professor levels starting Fall 2013 to teach at the graduate and undergraduate levels.  The minimum requirements are for the candidate to have a Ph.D. in Operations Management or a related area by the starting date of the appointment, and to be highly committed to excellence in research and in teaching graduate and undergraduate students. A competitive salary will be offered, with an expected teaching load of three semester courses per year.

The OM faculty is committed to high quality research in areas including business analytics, global supply chain management, knowledge management, management of technology, new product and process development, operations strategy, revenue management, and sustainable operations. Our research interests and expertise span across both analytical and empirical methodologies.  The OM area has an active doctoral program with a strong placement record.  In addition to offering the required core course at the graduate and undergraduate levels, the OM group offers six to eight electives in each program.
