Faculty Positions in Operations Management, Management Science, Statistics and Information Systems
The Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB), a leading graduate school of management in Asia, has over hundred full time faculty, more than 1200 students across various programmes and a significant executive education activity. IIMB seeks candidates with a strong commitment to high quality research and teaching in Operations Research, Operations and Technology Management, Statistics and Information Systems. IIMB provides an opportunity to work closely with industry and government through its various related centres such as Centre for Supply Chain Management, Centre for IT and Software Management and Centre for Public Policy (which includes health care, transportation, energy etc.) and a Big Data initiative that supports empirical research.
We invite applications for faculty positions at all levels. Candidates at the Assistant Professor level must demonstrate capability for carrying high quality research and should have completed or be in the final stages of completing their PhD. Associate Professors should have a track record of research and teaching. Professors are additionally expected to provide academic leadership at the Institute. Candidates would be expected to contribute to the Institute’s Post Graduate (MBA), Doctoral and Executive Programmes.
