The Department of Decision Sciences at Drexel University invites applications and nominations for a tenure track faculty position at the assistant professor level in the field of Operations Management and/or Business Analytics for the 2013-2014 academic year with a starting date as early as September 1, 2013.

Successful applicants must have completed a Ph.D. in business, industrial engineering, or a related area by their starting date. The Decision Sciences Department is responsible for the areas of Statistics, Operations Management, and Operations Research. Candidates must demonstrate evidence of (or potential for) publication in top tier journals, as well as teaching excellence at the undergraduate, masters, and Ph.D. levels required. Preference will be given to candidates interested in Data Mining and/or Business Analytics.

As a full-time faculty member, the requirements for this position include teaching at least 3 out of 4 quarters per year. Teaching at the undergraduate and graduate level as needed is also a requirement of this position. Successful applicants will also be expected to contribute to the growth and development of the department and college.
