Faculty Position in Health Systems Engineering

North Carolina State University (NC State) Edward P. Fitts Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering is seeking qualified applicants for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant or Associate professor level with a concentration in health systems engineering, starting as soon as possible. Relevant disciplines include industrial and systems engineering, operations research, and related fields as applied to medical decision making and health care systems engineering. Applicants with strong methodological research interests are particularly encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will be expected to do innovative research in medical decision making and health systems engineering and to pursue relevant research funding.  In addition, the candidate is expected to be active in the Ph.D. program, and to teach at the graduate and undergraduate levels. Junior applicants should have or expect to complete their Ph.D. by the time the position starts. NC State’s ISE Department is ranked 8th among Graduate Programs in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering by U.S. News & World Report.
