Suffolk University’s Sawyer Business School in Boston invites applications for a tenure-track position in the Information Systems and Operations Management (ISOM) Department. The anticipated start date is September 2013. The Sawyer Business School’s mission emphasizes globalization and innovation, and seeks applicants that can help achieve this mission.

ISOM faculty teach a combination of undergraduate/graduate and day/evening courses. The standard teaching load is 5 semester courses per academic year, with one course reduction for the initial year. For more information about our department, visit here.

We are seeking an assistant professor with the following:·         

Evidence of strong teaching and research potential.·         

Ability to teach core courses in Management Science and Operations Management.·         

Completion of a Ph.D. in Operations Management or related area.

In 2012, ISOM faculty members will be attending INFORMS and DSI to interview candidates. To be considered for interview at the 2012 INFORMS Annual Meeting, please submit your applications October 9, 2012.
