The Edward P. Fitts Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering (ISE) at North Carolina State University (NC State) is seeking qualified applicants for two full-time, tenure-track faculty positions with a concentration in health systems engineering.  Relevant disciplines include industrial and systems engineering, operations research, and related fields as applied to medical decision making and health care systems engineering. Applicants with strong methodological research interests are particularly encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will be expected to do innovative research in medical decision making and health systems engineering and to pursue relevant research funding. In addition, the candidate is expected to be active in the department's PhD program, and to teach at the graduate and undergraduate levels.

The first position is a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant/Associate level. The second is a tenure-track faculty position at Assistant/Associate/Full that will also be affiliated with NC State's Personalized Medicine Cluster.  The Personalized Medicine Cluster is a collaboration of the Edward P. Fitts Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering (ISE) with the Department of Statistics and the Department of Mathematics in which each department will recruit relevant faculty.  Both positions offer outstanding opportunity to work in an established health systems engineering group and to be in a highly ranked department of industrial and systems engineering.  We do encourage applications from academically experienced people since the positions can offer higher ranks.
