• Individual inventors and/or key contributors to a team project, or who have otherwise demonstrated a portfolio of inventiveness are encouraged to apply
• Applicants become a part of a cohort, benefitting from events, networking, and other opportunities
• In addition to monetary support, Winners (and up to 2 Finalists) gain national media attention, enabling them to further develop their ideas and/ or entrepreneurial ventures
